What is the average score of games in the first half of 2007?

Thanks for writing.

To answer your question well, I'd need to know how many runs each team scored in games they won, and how many runs they scored in games in which they lost.  Unfortunately all I could come up with is average runs scored.

In the AL, an average team in an average game has scored 4.89 runs.  This works out to about 6 to 4.

In the NL an average team in an average game has scored 4.5 runs.  This works out to 5 to 4.
