Question
how do you write this fraction in simplest form?
15/21

Answer
Okay you need to find number that can be multiplies to get each number. So, what can you divide 15 by and divide 21 by? What number goes into both of them and leaves a whole number? 3. So, divide the top by three and the bottom by three. Remember in fractions whatever you do to the top, you must also do to the bottom (and vice versa) if you want to just simplify it. So, 15 divided by 3 is 5. 21 divided by 3 is 7. So, you get 5/7. What goes into 5 which also foes into 7? No number does. So that’s the most simplified version you can get. Hope that makes sense. 5/7 is the answer.
