Basic Math/4th Grade Question Regarding Line Plots

Question
We have been asked to make a line plot of Laura's test scores.  The following has been provided.
Test 1, Score 86
Test 2, Score 90
Test 3, Score 95
Test 4, Score 84
Test 5, Score 94
Test 6, Score 86
Test 7, Score 92
Uncertain how to represent the score with simple "x's".  I am trying to assist a 4th grader with this question.  Thanks, Carrie

Answer
Draw a horizontal line.  Label the left end 80 and the right end 100.  In the middle, between 80 and 100, draw a line and label it 90.  Now draw in 9 evenly spaced lines between 80 and 90 and 90 and 100.  Label those according (81, 82, 83, etc).  Now, just put an x were there test scores fall and label each with 1-7, respectively.  It should look something like this (if this doesn't reformat when posted).

                   x6
             x4    x1          x2    x7    x5 x3
