Question
Y=3X+2
Y=-2X+2
 I DONT UNDERSTAND NOTHING TO MY ALGEBRA TEACHER HE DOESENT KNOW HOW TO SHOW US

Answer
Ok, there are a couple of ways you can solve this.  If both are = to y, then both are equal to each other, so 3x+2 = -2x+2.  Now, solve for x.  To do that, move the x's to one side and the constants to the other.  ie add 2x to both sides and subtract 2 from both sides.  That means, that unless you wrote down the problem wrong, x = 0
3x+2x +2-2 = -2x + 2x +2 -2
5x = 0
x = 0

Check the problem first and then I'll explain the other ways to solve.
