Question
hi i am currently a mature student studying on an access course. i have my exams coming up in march and although i have been getting extra help in maths and during the lessons i have understood everything as soon as i am at home trying to do maths i just forget it all. I have just found my own way of remembering the differences between mean, mode and median so now i feel quite confident with these but do you have any way of remembering the different sets of rules for different maths? ie> ratio, percentages to fractions ect...? even a basic sheet i could print out where all the rules are in one place would help so at least i could try and learn them all.
thanks for your time

Answer
I'm afraid I can't really help you there.

However, the best thing to do its buy a revision guide, or ask your teacher or you could just look at what you've done.

Leanr how to do it, and write the rules down, and then you'll have them in your own words.

Look at what you have to doi, write down the method, and then learn it.
