Tellwhether each equation represents direct variation between x and y.

y=9/10x
y=xy-8
y/x=8.25
x=y

Direct variation means that as the value of x (or y) changes, the value of the other will increase or decrease by the same amount.

x = y is direct variation. If x = 3000, then y = 3000. If x's value increases 7000 times, then y's value will increase 7000 times.
