Question
How do you know when an equation has infinitely many solutions? How do you know when an equation has no solution?

Answer
Hello Awilda,

When you get something that is always true, there are INFINITELY many
solutions. For example: 3x-4=5x-2x-5+1 ==> 3x-4=3x-4 ==> 0=0

When you get an impossible relation, that would mean NO SOLUTION.
For example: 3x-4=5x-2x+1 ==> 3x-4=3x+1 ==> -4=1

OK?

Abe
