Question Hello, my son age 8, 3rd grade, is having problems with math, he sees things in black and white...he reads on the 6th grade level...he reads all the time and loves it, but the math comes a little slower for him...can you offer any web sites, books, techniques, advice to help him learn math easier. He is disciplined and a great student, very focused and laid back. He loves school. He loves math games, or any game that teaches...I am teaching him chess and he loves it.Thank you for your advice and time! Gordon
Answer Hello, Gordon.
The only websites I can think of immediately are quickmath.com and Ask Dr. Math.
Dr. Math's website can be found at http://mathforum.org/dr.math/
Ask Dr. Math is an interactive website which probably can provide much help for your son's problems.
Regards,
John
