Question Can you please help me? This is the problem i am havign trouble with.
For each fraction decribed below, state the relatioship of the fractions to the number 1.
a) the numerator of the fraction is larger than the denominator of the fraction.
b) the denominator of the fraction is larger then the numerator of the fraction
c) the numerator and the denominator of the fraction have the same value.

Answer Hello, Joe.
a) If the numerator is larger than the denominator, then the resulting fraction is greater than 1. For example, in 6/3, the numerator is larger than the denominator. The actual value of 6/3 is 2 (6 divided by 3 = 2).
I'll let you work on the other two.
