Question
how do you count to find the slope by drawing a slope triangle

Answer
To find the slope by drawing triangle, begin by picking one of the points to be your starting position.  Now move up or down until you are level with the second point.  Count how many places steps you took and write that down.  If  you went up, the number should be positive.  If you went down, the number is negative.

Now, without picking up your pencil, move to the right or left until you reach the second point.  Count how many steps you took.  If you went right, the number is positive.  If you went left, the number is negative.

Divide the first number you got by the second number you got.  That is the slope.
