Question
What is an array?
The problem is to write out arrays for each number and then write prime or composite
Thank you!

Answer
I think it is just a list with two items in it.  Here is an example:

Number    Prime/Composite
7             prime
9             composite
4             composite
2             prime

I'm not sure but that is what I would answer.

Arrays are also written like this sometimes:

{{7, prime},{9, composite}, {4, composite}, {2, prime}}

The first list needs tabs to space them apart but the text editor here doesn't allow that.

I'm sorry I'm not more helpful.  I'd have to see the text you are working from.
