Please help me to find out the percentage that if 30 is the 70% of 100 then 20 is the 70% of which value, please tell me the formula

If I understand the question, the 100 is actually 100% of an unknown qty, so let x = the unknown qty.  Then .7x = 30 or x = 42.8. The first part is irrelavent to solving the second part unless whoever gave you the question just wanted to give you an example.  Either that or I don't understand the question.  So 70% of what number = 20 or .7x = 20 or x = 28.5
