Hi,
I need some help with this math question:
9 = 9x + 5, and m  5 = x + 37, find the value of x. I dont know how to do this since the x is by itself.

If these are two different questions then I can help, if not, I don't know how to do this problem.

Here are the solutions to the problems if they are two problems.

9 = 9x + 5
9- 5 = 9x + 5 -5
4 = 9x
4/9 = 9x/9
4/9 = x
x = 4/9

5 = x + 37
5 - 37 = x - 37
-32 = x
x = -32
