Question
hi my name is josh i need help with a problem. the problem is whats the diameter of 3 miles but it dont shows the radius please help

Answer
Josh,

I assume that 3 miles is the circumference and you want to find out diameter for the same.

Equation is:

Circumference = pi * Diameter (D)

So, here it becomes,
3= pi * D

Hence,
D = 3/pi

Now value of pi is 3.14
It becomes, D = 3/3.14
Hence, Diameter is approx 1 mile (or 0.955 mile to be very specific)

All the best
