Question
I need to find the density of a material that has a mass of 2 kg and a volume of 5 m3 in both a fraction and decimal

Answer
Density has units of kg/m^3.  (Sometimes you might find it as g/m^3 but usually it is not.)

So the density is:

2 kg/  5 m^3

or

2/5  kg/m^3          (fractional form)

or

0.4 kg/m^3           (decimal form)

Let me know if I can help further.  BTW, I'm out of town so I'll won't be able to respond as quickly as I usually would.  Sorry.  I'll be back on Monday.
