Question
could you help me write ratios in simplest form
5 3/5 to 2 1/10

Answer

Ratios
Rita,

While solving these problems, follow these steps in sequence:

Example 1: 5 3/5

1. Multiply the denominator with the given whole number (5 * 5 = 25)
2. Then add numerator to this value (3 + 25 = 28)

This result, 28, is numerator of the fraction in the simplest form and denominator remains the same. i.e. 28/5 is the simplest form of 5 3/5.

For better understanding, Please see the attached bitmap which explains the above mentioned two steps.

Following same procedure, the simplest form of 2 1/10 is 21/10.

I hope this clarifies the doubt.
