Question
how do i find value of 'x'in following equation. I know the answer but cannot reshape the formula:

((139x)-139))-28.26 = -4.63

Answer
Start by adding 28.26 to both sides of the equation

((139x)-139))-28.26 +28.26 = -4.63+28.26

((139x)-139)) = 23.63 (add 139 to both sides)
139x-139 +139 = 23.63 +139
139x = 162.63 (divide both sides by 139)
139x/139 = 162.63/139
x = 16263/13900 = 1 2363/13900
