Question i need to know how to change 112.5% to the lowest fraction
Answer Hello, Cindy.
The first step is to convert the 112.5% into a decimal. To do this, move the decimal point two places to the left, and remove the percentage sign. For your example, 112.5% becomes 1.125.
Since .125 is equal to 125 thousandths, you can rewrite the number as 1 125/1000.
Simplify 125/1000 to give you an answer of 1 1/8, or 9/8.
