7 over 23 is the fraction. please help ezekiel find the decimal approximation to the nearest hundreth. make it simple mom is not that bright.......

Well, obviously, 23 will not go into 7, so you have to add a decimal and add a zero.  Now you have 23 into 70, which goes 3 times, with only 1 left over.  So you have .3.  Add another zero, 23 doesn't go into 10, so the hundreth position is 0.  Add another zero.  23 into 100 goes 4 times so you have .304.  Rounded to the nearest hundreth is .30 or .3
