Question
Show me how to solve this linear equation 3(x-2)+7=2(x+5)can u show me step by step how it is done please and thank you

Answer
Assuming you mean, solve for x, then here is how.

3(x-2)+7=2(x+5)  do the multiplication
3x - 6 + 7 = 2x + 10  do the addition
3x + 1 = 2x + 10  subtract 2x from both sides
x + 1 = 10  subtract 1 from both sides
x = 9

to confirm, substitute x=9 into the original equation
