I've searched everywhere but everything just says You flip the fraction round and i understand how but WHY?
Please reply ASAP

Here is an excellent explanation of why u "flip the fraction"  http://www.helpwithfractions.com/dividing-fractions.html  In reality, u are multiplying the numerator and denominator by the reciprocal of the denominator to get rid of fraction over a fraction
