i got 85 out of 100 worth 10% of overall
i got 22 out of 30 worth 15% of overall
i got 52 out of 70 worth 35% of overall

basically my next exam is worth 35% also - and i am wondering if i even need to pass it...to pass the subject overall! - answer ASAP thanks!!!! :)

Answer
Hello Tiffany,

So far, you have 65% of your grade, as follows:
1/5 = 20% worth 5% of your grade
85/100 = 85% worth 10%
22/30 = 73.33% worth 15%
52/70 = 74.29% worth 35%
Which all gives:
20*0.05 + 85*0.10 + 73.33*0.15 + 74.29*0.35 = 46.5 out of 65,
which gives you about a 71.5 average.

So, you are now passing, with a "C" or "C-"...

If you tell me the cut-off grades for each letter grade, then I can
figure out what you need to get on the next exam!
