Yes, Mathematica is a wonderful tool for doing and visualizing mathematics!

I use a similar product called Maple (http://www.maplesoft.com).

You can also try this free site, which uses Mathematica for much of its
computations:  http://www.wolframalpha.com/ - a grweat free site, try it!!!
