Question
Standard deck of 52 cards nd than die is tossed.
 P(black card, 2 or 5)

Answer
Hello, Kassie.

There are 52 cards in a standard deck, and so 26 of them are black. The probability of selecting a black card at random is 26/52, or 1/2.

There are 6 sides to a die, and so there is a probability of 2/6, or 1/3, of getting either a 2 or 5 when the die is tossed.

To figure out the overall probability, multiply the two probabilities together.

1/2 x 1/3 = 1/6

Answer: 1/6

John
