Question
I have a few math questions I am having trouble with. I was wondering if you could show me how to do them. Thank-you

QUESTIONS

9(n+2)=n+26

3+6s=4(s-3)+19

4(d-4)+2=3(d+1)

Answer
Hell Rachel,

1. 9(n+2)=n+26, distribute the 9 on the left side
-- 9n+18=n+26, now subtract n on both sides and 18
-- 8n=8, now divide by 8
-- n=1

2. similarly:
-- 3+6s=4s-12+19
-- 3+6s=4s+7
-- 2s=4
-- s=2

3. again:
-- 4d-16+2=3d+3
-- 4d-14=3d+3
-- d=17

OK?
