QUESTION: 1. What value of the variable y is associated with:

a. x=1
b. x=0
c. x=-2

Answer
Is there a diagram to go along with this?
The question has to be incomplete.  There is not enough
information there.  The MUST be more...

A point is given by an ordered pair: (x,y).
Just given the x-value, and no other info, is
not enough to determine the y-value.
