Question -
Hello:

If one U.S. dollar is equal to 115.68 Japanese yen, one Japanese yen is equal to how many U.S. dollars?

I thank you for your reply.

Answer -
Take the inverse of 115.68.

Since 1 USD = 115.68Y, 1Y= 1/115.68 USD.

Answer
The reason was given in the second line.
Since 1 USD = 115.68Y, 1Y= 1/115.68 USD.

The logic goes like this:
Given that "x" lots of A is equal to "y" lots of B, if "x" is non-zero, there must be "y/x" B's per A.

Given that 1 US dollar amounts to 115.68 Yens, this must be equivalent to 1/115.68 US dollar per Yen.
