On what day of the week and at what time does a 555 hour competition start if the competition has to end on a saturday at 15.00?

Answer
There are 24 hours each day.

Dividing the "number of hours" by "hours per day", we get 555/24, which may be written as a mixed fraction 23 and 1/8 days. The fraction 1/8 corresponds to 3 hours.

All in all, we must go back 23 days and 3 hours.
The time is going to be 12:00 (this being 15:00-3:00).

If we go back 21 days (i.e., 3 weeks) it would be a Saturday. The day is going to be Thursday (going back 23 days).
