Question
HOW DO THEY GET 4/11 X 22/36= 4/1 X 2/36 = 1/1 X 2/9 = 2/9 WE DON'T GET HOW THEY GET TO 1/1 X 2/9 = 2/9?PLEASE HELP

Answer
Hello Patty (and friends...how many are you??),

It does not look that good in typed form, but:
(4/11)x(22/36) can be reduced by noticing that
the 11 in the denominator of (4/11) divides the
22 in the numerator of (22/36)...thus leaving
a "2" in the numerator, this leaves: (4/1)x(2/36)
Now notice the 4 in the numerator of (4/1) divides
the 36 in the denominator of (2/36), which
leaves (1/1)x(2/9)=2/9

OK?
