Question
Hi, I did not know where I could post this question, but since this question is categorized as an elementary question in GRE questions I decided to ask you. I'd appreciate your help on this question...

Question:
A decrease in the number of sales personnel in Company K to 85 percent of the original sales force resulted in a decrease of 500 in the number of monthly sales.

Which is greater in value Colum A or Colum B?

Colum A
The percent decrease in the number of Company K's monthly sales

Colum B
The pecent decrease in the number of Comapany K's sales personnel

Answer
Hello Kristi,

Sure, no problem...

We cannot tell from the info provided.
We have no idea what percentage the 500 represents
in terms of monthly sales.  We need to know what the
total monthly sales were before the sales force was
decreased.

Good luck!

BTW: If you are studying from a GRE prepapration book,
doesn't it have the answers to the questions?
