and i will be driving a 1994 Chevrtolet Corsica V6 engine.

THANK YOU A BUNCH!

Answer
Katherine,

The following website tells us about fuel economy for the 1994 Chevrolet Corsica v6.
http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/bymodel/1994_Chevrolet_Corsica.shtml

If you travel in the city, it covers 21 miles per gallon of gas. On the highway, it covers 29 miles per gallon of gas. Not knowing how much of your journey is actually spent on a highway, I simply average these two figures and put an estimate for fuel efficiency at 25 miles per gallon.

You need 386.15/25 (roughly 15.5) gallon of gas to cover a distance of 386.15 miles. The cost is approximately 15.5*1.1 = $17.05. [I have assumed that the fuel price is $1.1 per gallon]

You should make extra allowance for price fluctuation and possibly travelling longer distances.

Expertise

When I work through problems, I like to emphasize concepts which I believe are worth noting. I will try to answer questions in the following areas, but not at the advanced level. Algebra. Sequences & Series. Trigonometry. Functions & Graphs. Coordinate Geometry. Quadratic Polynomials. Exponential & Logarithms. Basic Calculus. Probability, Permutation and Combination. Mathematical Induction. Complex numbers. Physics problems.

Experience

I have worked as a teaching assistant in college. My hope is that more people will share knowledge without boundary, give help without seeking recognition or monetary rewards.
