Question
Hello I am barly going to be a sophomore student at Oretimba High school.  I decided to take two math classes because I though I could jump of head so I decided to take Algebra 2 and Geometry at the same time.  I am reviewing my Algebra one note books and I came across the Pythagora's Theorem and I am not sure how exactly to do some of the last steps and I was wondering if you could help me out.  Well since you said you were a college professor would taking more math classes during your high school years increase your chance on being admitted into a univerity.  Well thank you very much.

Answer
Hello Cindy,

Sure, I'll help...I need to know what the problem(s)
are though!

As for taking more math in HS...that is ALWAYS a good
idea (provided you do well)!  ;->

Most people (college admissions people as well) perceive
doing well in mathematics as being a good problem solver
and thinking logically...which is very much welcome!!!

Good luck & TTYL, Abe

BTW: Where is Oretimba High School?
