This is Natalie's Mom.  The only thing we can find in the chapters of her grade 8 math book is scale drawings which we think is like... there are 30 children in the class, 7 play the flute... etc. and make it into a circle graph
but when she got her outline for the midterm exam there is a topic called scale factoring?

Well, the "circle graphs" are more commonly known as
Venn Diagrams...do you need help with that?

As for "scale drawings"...I am not sure how they mean that!
Being it is for 8th grade math, my guess is that it is just
a fancy name for something pretty simple...like something
involving proportions.

If you can furnish an example I can help you figure it out!
