Your second questions depends on which part is divided by 3 whether its (5-2x)/3) or 5-(2x/3) if its the first one you would multiply both sides 3 and get

6<5-2x<21

Then subtract 5 from all sides

1<-2x<16

Then divide by -2 to get

-1/2 > x > -8

So we would write the notations as

(-8,-1/2)

So you would right is as (-8,
