Question
what is the standard form for ax+by=c?

Answer
Hello, Thomas!

>> What is the standard form for ax + by = c ?

I believe that IS the standard form
   for an equation of a line.

Any other variation has some special name.

For example, if we solve for y, we get:
    y  =  -(a/b)x - (c/b)

 which is called the Slope-Intercept Form.
