Question
I have a math standard's test and I need to learn about percentage. What is 0.07 in percent?

Answer
Aaron,

To go from a decimal (such as 0.07) to percentage, just remember to multiply the decimal figure by 100.

0.07 x 100 = 7

So, 0.07 is equivalent to 7%.

To go from a percentage to a decimal figure, divide the percentage point by 100.

eg., 5/100 = 0.05
So, 5% is equivalent to 0.05.

Cheers.

Expertise

When I work through problems, I like to emphasize concepts which I believe are worth noting. I will try to answer questions in the following areas, but not at the advanced level. Algebra. Sequences & Series. Trigonometry. Functions & Graphs. Coordinate Geometry. Quadratic Polynomials. Exponential & Logarithms. Basic Calculus. Probability, Permutation and Combination. Mathematical Induction. Complex numbers. Physics problems.

Experience

I have worked as a teaching assistant in college. My hope is that more people will share knowledge without boundary, give help without seeking recognition or monetary rewards.
