Your video tape collection contains 5 history, 6 science fiction and 3 adventure movies. If you pick two tapes, what is the probability that they are both adventure movies?

Answer
Hi David,

Probability is a fraction: # of 'winners' [outcomes that meet the conditions] over all possible outcomes.

For the 1st pick we have 3 winners / 14 outcomes
For the second pick, we have 2 remaining winners / 13 remaining outcomes

To find the complete probability multiply 3/14 * 2/13 = ?

Hope this is helpful. Write again whenever I can assist further.
