Question
Hello Bret,

I'm 20 years old, 6 feet and a half-inch, about 165 pounds and I play the off guard position now though I'm not a bad PG. I want to get admitted in a university with a basketball scholarship. I have about 3 or 4 months to improve my game during which I have about 4 hours daily for weight training and practice.
Will u please recommend a 6 day plan for me, to improve my jumpshots( I'm pretty good at driving in the lane), increasing my vertical leap( is it possible to increase by 2 feet in 4 months?) and strengthen my joints(I'm quite injury-prone especialy my ankles I twist them all the time) ?
I can use a maximum of 2 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening but not more than 4- 4 1/2 hours in all a day? I also have a membership in a great gym.

Thank you,
Prince

Answer
Hi Prince,

I'm sorry to say I'm not a trainer, and I will not give out advice on a work out program. If you have a gym membership, then I would talk to the trainers there; they are professionals. My expertise is in basketball rules and officiating. I'm sorry.
