Question
i am considering signing up for a summer league, so i need some help on how to improve in some areas. mostly i want to work on my shot. im used to shooting 2 handed and i know thats bad, how can i get used to shooting normally with one hand?

Answer
Hi John,

Normally this is not my area of expertise, however if you want to try shooting with one hand, try standing really close to the basket, maybe 3-5 feet or so, and start shooting with the one hand. As you get use to it, back up a step. Then each time you get use to the new distance, step back a foot or so again. Then try it again from a different angle to the basket, and begin close again. Keep doing this until you finally start getting use to the one hand. Good luck.
