Question
Coach a 9/10 year old boys basketball team. We are having a difficult time breaking the press. We have two good ballhandlers, but the problem is getting it to them on the inbounds pass. 10 seond rule applies.  Any tips or plays would be great.

Thanks!

Answer
Hi Richard,

Above is a link that goes over breaking the press. it covers alot of different types of Zone presses. If this doesnt help please write back and I will see if I can come up with something different.

A different way of attacking the press is have your best ball handler take the ball out and when he passes it in have that player pass it right back to him after he steps on to the court. Usually the defenders forget about the inbounder and are focusing on stealing the ball or trapping the first pass.

Good luck and let me know if any of this helps...
