Question
Dear Coach,

My first question was how do I jump higher, but I think I have already got the answer to that from reading the other questions.

Now my question is how can you get taller? Well I am 5'7"-5'8"(Not sure exact height), 16 year old.

I want to be a true basketball player, I have passion for the sport. I made my highschool team in Canada. Once I am done highschool here, I am thinking of going to college in America just for basketball.

Thanks.

Answer
OK, listen up.

Yoga spine stretching is definitely going to help you.
Try this free site out and rush to the twisting postures. They will help you lengthen and strengthen your spine. Most importantly, stretch just before sleeping while on bed. Feel you back stretching, twisting and relaxing.

Now, on to some nutrition secrets.
Spirulina and soy protein are the best choice, however almonds and sesame as well 1-2 hours before sleeping will definitely increase your growth hormone release. The key nutrients that they have in abundunce is arginine(amino acids), magnesium and zinc. That's great combination. What you really want to avoid is sugar(sweets, fruits) before sleeping. Try milk with cocoa(just at night with cocoa - drink at least 2 more cups of pure milk during the day. These are golden rules.
Also, sleep in a completely dark room. No beam of light at all.

This is the perfect age to stimulate growth hormone and it's going to be good.
