Question
When i get the ball to shoot in like open gyms and stuff i always get nervous even though i know i can make the shot.  Also i can't take pressure very well, how can i change these to things?

Answer
Hello Luke.  Thank you for your question.

First, start paying attention to what you are saying to yourself in these situations.  Are you saying negative things like "I can't do it, I'm going to miss this shot, I always screw these up?"  Instead, get in the habit of giving yourself positive talk.  Also, when you are practicing and make a shot, congratulate yourself and lock that success in your mind.  Make a habit of that, and when you are in an open gym, before you shoot, take a split second to remember all of those great shots you've made.  This will help your shooting, confidence and you'll do better under pressure as well.
