Basketball Instruction/coaching

Question
I would love your advice for a practice plan for my son's 10 year old team.  It is a competitive team with higher level players for their age group.  I have coached Jr. high before, but that was 12 years ago.  I need a refresher course on how to keep the practice moving and how to teach them to take practice seriously.  I need fundamental drills as well as a good 1-3-1 half court trap break.  That defense is used a lot in this league.  I look forward to your answer.  Please be thorough.  Lots of drills and several ways to break the trap.

Answer
Hi Linda,

I am going to refer you to a great site that has everything such as drills, fundamentals, practice plans, plays, and a lot more. Take a look at it and I think it will answer all your questions. If it does not, please write and I will try to help. Good luck with the season!
