Question
Hi. I'm alex and i am 14 6 foot and 167 pounds. I guess that i am pretty big, but i have a problem driving to the basket. What can i do to change that? how can i penetrate the D? I lose the ball alot when driving, and get stopped

Answer
Well, pal, it's obvious that you have some dribbling problems.

Ball control is the most important thing when driving the basket. Elevate your weak hand dribbling ability, so that you can change direction and you are not so vulnerable to the defender(if you go always to the right the defender will know that from the start and will easily stop you.

Crossovers and reverse moves are really worthy as well. Try to get to do these faster and faster time after time.

Ending, DON'T HESITATE to drive in even if there are taller opponents waiting for you. Passion and willing are really important to hit the basket.

Check some Alan Iverson's and Steve Francis' clips and study them carefully again and again. Try to learn and use some moves. Don't just sit and admire them. Get to understand the way the play.
