Question
hi my tryouts for middle school basketball starts next week and i really want to make the team. can u give me some hints please. is there away to impress the coach. he is also my gym teacher.

Answer
Hello Jordan

From the perspective of the mental game, what really impresses a coach is a player who is really serious - who works hard, is a team player, listens to the coach and does what the coach says.

Coaches know that players are not born with great basketball skills.  Coaches also know that great skills are developed with discipline and practice, players that do that are what impress them.

Good luck and let me know how it goes.
