Hello-  I have searched diligently and have been unable to discover any evidence of injury or illness.  I think his team just thought he was washed up and playing out the string- he only shot around .375 from the floor that year and pulled down around 6 rebounds.  H got into about as many games as the average #10 or 11 guy on a roster.
