You should have asked me 5 years ago. I was a real nut back then... :)

Basketball Trivia (general) - Consecutive Field Goal Streak

Expert: Borko Bariæ - 3/28/2005

Question
Dear Borko,

I know Wilt Chamberlain has the record for the most consecutive
field goals--18.  But... is that in one game, or over a span of
games?  And if that record is just in one game, is a record kept
for the longest streak of consecutive fg's over a span of games?
If so, what is the record?

Thanks!

Mike

Answer
Hello Mike,

Wilt's 18 consecutive field goals were in a single game, on March 19, 1967 against Baltimore. He also holds the record for most consecutive field goals in a season with 35 from February 17-February 28, 1967.

I hope this answered your question.
