How come no basketball players have been implicated in the steroid scandal or have there been any
players theat have been caught using ever?

Answer
Well, I think the biggest reason is the nature of the game. In basketball, quickness, dexterity and all sorts of skill are essential to success. Power, although important, doesn't play as big a role as in, say, baseball or gridiron. NBA players are probably too aware of the side-effects and too afraid they would hamper their overall performance.

Steroids are on the list of banned substances in the NBA, and there have been cases (like this one: http://www.detnews.com/2002/pistons/0211/13/sports-9122.htm) of players testing positive, but nothing high-profile, and definitely nothing as big as it is happening now in baseball.
