Question
Hi,
I have a 5 month old basset pup he is very mean bites hard draws blood. He jumped on the couch last night he had his mouth open and cut my eye open I woke up with a black eye. He goes potty in the house still he has LOTS of chew toys. PLEASE HELP ME! Cyndy
Hi Cyndy,
I'm sorry but you've not given me enough information to enable me to help. A 5 month old puppy that's been taught bite inhibition from day one will not bite and draw blood. Jumping on the couch and blacking your eye is an accident and not being 'mean'. Going potty in the house and having lot of chew toys have nothing to do with each other...not sure what the correlation is there. If you need help, you need to be more descriptive of your situation, problems and what you've attempted when trying to correct those problems.
