Beadwork/Crimp Ends

Question
I started using crimp ends, but have a problem with the wire. If I bring it through into the eye, how do I get into the eye to trim the wire? If I cut it short enough to stop before going into the eye, I cannot hold it & the beads come off. Is there a way to do this? Thank you so much.

Answer
do you mean this type of crimp end?

They have a tutorial here:

They say trim the excess but don't tell you how.  I would think that a good pair of flush cutters with sharp tips should trim that if you hold the wire at an angle while you trim it.

I hope this is of some help.
